Sam Ellis
President and Director of Educational Activities

Sam Ellis is the current President and Director of Educational Activities for the Kappa Theta chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated (4-KΘ-FA22). He is from Chattanooga, Tennessee and is studying Sociology, Human and Organizational Development, and Data Science. On campus he has been involved with Experience Vanderbilt, REVAMP, Vanderbilt Programming Board, Blair Jazz Combos, College of Arts & Sciences Honors College, Honor Council, the Vanderbilt Black Student Leadership Conference, and a teaching assistant for Data Science 1100.
Fun fact: He has listened to an album a day for the past 2 years!

Roman Thomas
Vice President
Roman Thomas is the current Vice President of the Kappa Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated(1-ΚΘ-FA23). He is a junior from Atlanta, GA studying Biochemistry and MHS on the premed track. On campus, he serves as a student VUceptor, General Chemistry Learning Assistant, Service Chair in the Black Student Association, oVRcome director of volunteering, team leader in Vanderbilt Student Volunteers for Science, and a member of the Jones Neuropharmacology Lab.

Fun Fact: He was a trumpet player for six years and was in ATL Youth Symphony!

Malik Clarke
Secretary
Malik Clarke is the current Secretary for the Kappa Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated (4-KΘ-FA23). He is from Gwinnett County, Georgia, studying Political Science & African American and Diaspora Studies on a rigorous pre-law track. On campus, he currently serves as Senior Advisor of MOSAIC, External Vice-President of Vanderbilt’s pre-law chapter of the National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA), National Pan-Hellenic Council Vice-President, a Student Assistant at the Student Center for Belonging and Communities (SCBC), and VUceptor among other roles.
Fun Fact: In high school, I was a two-time recipient of the Best Breaststroke Award on my Varsity Swim & Dive Team!

Miguel Kamgaing
Treasurer
Miguel Kamgaing is the current Treasurer of the Kappa Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated (2-KΘ-FA24). He is a Sophomore from Woodbridge, Virginia studying Human & Organizational Development. On Campus he serves on the Student Alumni Board, Campus Services Committee of Vanderbilt Student Government, research assistant in the Youth and Society Lab, and as the Chair of the General Committee of the Black Homecoming Collective.

Kenny Goodman
Associate Editor of the Sphinx
Kenny Goodman is the current ​Associate Editor of the Sphinx of the Kappa Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated (2-ΚΘ-SP22). He is a Senior from Nashville, Tennessee studying Engineering Science with a concentration in Social Justice and a minor in Engineering Management. On campus, he serves as the Vice President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council and the Outreach Chair for the Black Homecoming Committee.

Chaplain
Aaron Malcolm is the current Chaplain of the Kappa Theta chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated (1-KΘ-FA22). He is a junior from Miami, Florida studying Human Organizational Development and Anthropology. On campus, he has been involved in the Black Student Association Exec., Caribbean Student Association Exec., ASU Harambee, Vandy Vanity Exec., Bioarchaeology Stable Isotope Analysis Lab, NPHC Exec., and the Black Cultural Center's Digital Media Internship.

Sergeant at Arms
Miles Davis is the current ​Sergeant at Arms of the Kappa Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated (2-KΘ-FA22). He is from Chicago, Illinois, majoring in Human and Organizational Development with a minor in Medicine, Health, and Society. On campus, he serves as the President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, secretary of the Black Student Association, a previous teaching assistant for the Survey of American Hip-Hop, ADP for the Fall 23 initiates, and Dean for the Fall 24 initiates.

Parliamentarian
Chirac Troy is the current ​Parliamentarian of the Kappa Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated (2-KΘ-FA23). He is a junior from Northern Virginia, double majoring in Human & Organizational Development and Environmental & Climate Studies. On campus, he serves as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair of the Omicron Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity, the Co-Vice President of the Black Student Association, a member of the Climate, Health, and Energy Equity Lab, and ADP for the Fall '24 initiates.

Historian
Sobenna Onwumelu is the current Historian of the Kappa Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated (1-KΘ-FA24). He is a Junior from Atlanta, Georgia studying Computer Science. On Campus he serves as a developer for Change++, a developer for Vandyhacks, research assistant in the Institute of Software Integrated Systems, and the Public Relations Chair for the National Society of Black Engineers.

Evan Houser is a current member of the Kappa Theta chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated (3-KΘ-FA24). He is from Birmingham, Alabama majoring in biomedical engineering and a minor in philosophy. On campus, he serves as service chair for the Black Student Association, a VUceptor for freshman students, Executive board member of Blackness in the Great Outdoors, A member of Theta Tau professional engineering fraternity, and a research assistant in the Gonzales Neurotechnology lab.

Co-Director of Public Affairs and Director of Community Service
Sean is the current Co-Director of Public Affairs and Director of Community Service of the Kappa Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated (4-KΘ-FA24). He is from Dallas, Texas, majoring in Human and Organizational Development with minors in Business and Psychology. On campus, he is a member of the Men's club soccer team as well as a practice player for the actual women's soccer team, a Vandy Tour Guide, and a member of the Sports Business Club.
